Olodumare sent many spirits or Orishas to manage the world and provide guidance to humanity. The Orishas are available to all although many devotees dedicate themselves to one specific Orisha. When calling on an Orisha for help, use his or her symbols and colors in your working. The oils provided here can be used to adorn the symbols, Orisha statue and petition used in the ritual work. These oils are based on traditional formulas, designed to be pleasing to each of the major Orishas indicated.
